Technology
Innovative solutions for soil stabilisation and fertiliser application. For more than 50 years, the STREUMASTER company has been a pioneer for more success on the construction site and in the field for its customers from all over the world.
A-Technology
Binding agent spreaders of the TA series are the ideal candidates for those projects in soil stabilization which require high-performance spreading of binding agents on a large scale.
C-Technology
C-Technology binder spreaders prove to be perfect guarantors of success for convincing spreading performance in the field of soil stabilisation and cold recycling.
Soil stabilisation
Soil stabilisation is the umbrella term for soil improvement and soil consolidation. These methods are used when soils are heavily soaked and therefore cannot be sufficiently compacted or driven over.
Cold recycling
Cold recycling is an environmentally friendly and economical method of producing high-quality base layers. A distinction is made between two processes.
A-Technology
The binding agent spreaders of the TA series with spreading auger are the ideal choice for soil stabilisation applications that require large-area, high-performance spreading of binding agents. They offer high spreading performance, simple operation, enormous robustness and low maintenance. The TA series is available as a stable single-axle trailer. Numerous connection options with the hitch, service brake and various drive systems allow the units to be combined with all towing vehicles.
With the standard Roto Plus, even highly flowing binding agents can be applied.
The bottom line: a solid, powerful machine with all the advantages of a practical and durable design.
C-Technology
Binding agent spreaders of the C series are an equally perfect choice when it comes to guaranteeing impressive spreading performance in the fields of soil stabilization and cold recycling. Their technical features and excellent spreading results fully correspond to those of the high-quality. Models of the TC series are available as single- or tandem-axle trailers. The binding agent spreaders of the MC series have not been designed as towed models, however, but as mobile built-up units for different types of carrier vehicles. In addition to trucks, the range of suitable carrier vehicles includes dumpers, track-mounted vehicles, special trucks, and many more.
Soil stabilisation
Large-scale preparation of non-bearing soils
Soil stabilization proves its worth whenever the properties of the soil need to be changed and prepared for further processing.
Lime and cement provide stability
Soil stabilization is the method of choice for restoring the bearing capacity and quality of soils and preparing them for road construction projects. The targeted introduction of binders, for example, can reduce the moisture content of a soil, which is essential for further processing.
Compared to replacing the entire soil, soil stabilisation is an economical and resource-saving method. Cost savings result, for example, from simpler site logistics – through fewer truck trips and shorter construction times. Resources are also conserved, because stabilisation makes full use of the existing soil and merely adds binders such as lime or cement – or both together as mixed binders.
Cold recycling
Cold recycling (in-situ) is environmentally friendly and economical
As soon as the load-bearing capacity of the asphalt pavement has been compromised, complete rehabilitation of the road structure is unavoidable. The trend is towards environmentally friendly and economical solutions in which the recycling of the pavement material is a basic prerequisite.
How does cold recycling work?
In the cold recycling process in place (or in-situ), the reclaimed material does not even leave the job site, but is processed on site and immediately placed again. This not only saves many truck trips to the processing site, but also shortens construction times.
Cold recycling in-situ, one technology, many application variants
Our system partner WIRTGEN – as a pioneer in cold recycling – offers different technologies and processes that are used depending on local conditions. However, the basic technology is the same for all cold recyclers: small quantities of cement are pre-spread by our binder spreaders, the asphalt layer is granulated to the desired depth, the granulated material is mixed with binder and water as well as bitumen emulsion or foamed bitumen, placed again and compacted.
